Verified facts

Aston Martin reported Q3 revenue of £388.7m, up 36%, and a pre-tax loss of £77.1m, compared with a £111.9m loss a year earlier.

Quarterly free cash outflow was £27.6m. Total wholesale vehicle volumes were broadly unchanged at 1,431, with the mix affected by Valhalla deliveries. The company retained its full-year guidance.

Apolifina analysis

Higher revenue need not mean that more cars were sold or that the company has reached profitability. Product mix and selling prices matter. A smaller cash outflow is an improvement, but it is not positive cash generation.

Uncertainty and risk

Quarterly performance can be uneven and wholesale deliveries differ from retail customer purchases. Financing, demand and execution remain risks. Guidance can change. General information only.
